To properly generate one of these FTA templates, various components need to be completed at the product master level, entity master level and within the shipment.
Product Master -- Updating Free Trade Agreement Information
Free trade information is stored within the product master, at the product level and cannot be updated within a shipment.
1. Go to Client Client Data.
2. Click on Products
4. Click on Free Trade Screen.
5. Provide all necessary information for each country. Be sure to click save!
Entity Master Updates
1. Go to Client Client Data.
2. Click on Entities.
3. Type in your entity name and click Search. You may need to do this for all entities that will be used as the exporter/importer/producer.
4. Check the Other Entity box and click save. This cannot be done within an entity in a shipment.
Creating the FTA Within a Shipment.
6. Go back to your shipment and make sure you have two entities on the Other Entities screen identified as the Producer and the Importer.
Entity Master Updates
1. Go to Client Client Data.
2. Click on Entities.
3. Type in your entity name and click Search. You may need to do this for all entities that will be used as the exporter/importer/producer.
4. Check the Other Entity box and click save. This cannot be done within an entity in a shipment.
Creating the FTA Within a Shipment.
6. Go back to your shipment and make sure you have two entities on the Other Entities screen identified as the Producer and the Importer.

Once those are set, you will be able to generate the certificates of origins as expected.
